Opensource alternatives : Xtreme download manager (like IDM)

Xtreme download manager is an alternative for Internet download manager. Of course, it is free and there is no need for purchasing or cracks.



Make sure you have installed java (1.6 or higher) in your system.
After downloading the .jar file you just need to run it using jvm.

There are browser add-ons too, which will integrate your browser with xdm. So you can easily download the file without copy-paste to xdm.
